The majority of Trendy Babies products are made to order. As with all handmade items, please handwash in cold water and lay flat to dry.
In general, please allow 1-2 weeks for manufacturing plus 1-3 weeks for delivery depending on your location. Some items (like tutus, flower hats/headbands, hair clips, booties, mittens, heart crayons, tutus) are manufactured a lot sooner than our standard time (within 2-3 business days); while other items --like crochet items or any custom sewn product where fabric must be ordered-- will take a bit longer than our standard time (approximately 3 weeks). Due to their nature, Trendy Baby products are non-refundable once they have entered production as each item is custom made to order. However, if you receive an item that is defective or not as described in the invoice, an exchange will be permitted. In special circumstances, a "Mama" may permit a refund instead of replacement. This is at the "Mama's" discretion and reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please note that only the product will be refunded, as Canada Post does not reimburse shipping. If a customer chooses to Return an item, shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer HOWEVER you may do a Return to Sender free of charge. For this reason, we require that you look over all items closely prior to discarding the original packaging. If you any quality concerns, simply write "Defective" on the packaging, tape the package back up, and write Return to Sender on the front of the envelope.
To keep shipping costs low for our customers, we always use the cheapest shipping method available. Please be advised that this option does NOT entitle you to tracking or product insurance. If you would like tracking or faster shipping, please email us at service@trendybabies.ca and we will send you a separate invoice for upgraded Canada Post shipping. Shipping insurance will offer you peace of mind. Please understand that occasional delays due to postal service or customs (for US items) are beyond our control. Once an item has left our hands, we do not have any control over postal service shipping times or safe handling. Per Trendy Babies store policy, shipping time is 4-6 weeks; however, in general, Canada Post Parcel takes 2-12 business days (add 4 days for remote areas) and USPS (from the US) takes 10-15 business days *unless held by customs. Shipping time tends to increase during the months of November/December as both Customs and the Postal Service get bogged down by increased shipments for Christmas. Please take this into consideration when ordering gifts and plan accordingly. If the delivery of your package is delayed beyond the 10-15 business days [post production], please call your local Post Office and local Customs office to inquire about the status of your non-delivered package.
